(Heres an email below written to a skeptical photographer by another photographer who bought the modeling program and CCd to me)

"I'm pretty much in a situation. I basically used my last mortgage payment to go to John Hartman's seminar in Las Vegas. It wasn't my plan to drain my funds that much but I hadn't accounted for all of those "Annual" bills that roll around in Jan & Feb. I'd always just paid them without even thinking about it. (It was good to have a high paying job. Work your ass off, no life, but I had bucks in the bank.) I figured I still had a few months of money in the bank left. Big surprise when I did the checkbook balance 2 weeks ago! Believe me, I thought hard about getting Frank's package.

I made the decision to move forward based on a few factors.

1) Frank made sense to me. I got it right off the bat, and I needed to understand more on how he did it. A group of photographers met up with Frank after the first day to listen and absorb what he had to say. They all sat around listening intently. I ran around the food court, got dinner, listened and got more excited, and then started taking pictures of the group. I could hardly contain my brain as it was spinning so fast trying to decode what he was saying. (I tend to over analyze and redesign things, as I try to "OWN" it as part of my core knowledge.)

2) I had tried some "Internet" marketing for my senior business. I got ZERO bookings and a bill big enough to buy dinner with. Frank has figured out a way to turn on a channel that will drive clients to your door.

3) I saw Frank's plan as the fast track to perfect what I had kind of stumbled on last fall. Let me explain a bit. I got hooked up through a referral to photograph a middle school play. I did it for free, what the heck, I wasn't shooting anyway and I might get a few referrals. Good face time with upcoming High School and Family portrait clients. I basically set up a free session for the kids to get photographed in their costume, I took $20 as a reservation fee applied to their print order and then worked my ass off doing things the traditional way. Shoot, edit, book Viewings, take order, produce prints, re contact client numerous times to pick up order. After almost 2 months of following up with everyone I finally closed the last sale and delivered everything. I got an average of $250 for my efforts doing "special play pricing". Total gross was just over $2k. So that was around $1k a month. A start but not good enough. Prior to that I did a free session for one lucky dance school child. That one took a year but I got over $2,500 from a free session. (They had some financial issues come up.) I needed to shorten the sale cycle and cut my time WAY down. I heard the solution to my problem in what Frank was saying.

Here are the results I've gotten so far. I spent around 1.5 weeks implementing Frank's plan getting all of the infrastructure in place. I probably took longer than what was really needed.

Let me explain...

Like I said I tend to over analyze things. After staying up for a day and a half trying to do it all myself it hit me. I mean it really sunk in what Frank and John Hartman were saying. Most people buy money with their time, you should buy time with your money. The money will come. So I stopped trying to re invent things (just because you can, doesn't mean you should) and I just applied what Frank had already laid out in his plan. Use the WuFoo forms. What it costs me in one month of service fees (You can use the free plan) doesn't even cover the development costs I'd have charged someone for one hour of my development time to do the same thing. I'd just waisted over 36 hours of my time! Stupid, stupid, engineer...

Ok, sorry for the digression. Just trying to point out a few of my miss steps in implementing Frank's plan. I could have gotten the engine working a lot faster!

After flipping the switch on the project I started getting tickles, but no real activity. Frank looked my stuff over, suggested a few minor changes (which I implemented immediately) and wham. I really started to get activity. In two days of running the program ACTIVELY I got 10 bookings! That's more bookings than I got all of last year trying things the old pound the pavement way. I'm not counting the middle school stuff here as that was pure luck on landing that gig.

Total cost has been about $8 a booked lead if you average things out. I'm thinking that's pretty good. I can probably do better as I refine things and lower my bid price.

Get this... I turned the engine off last night (per Frank's plan, well more like taking your foot off the gas and coasting) after extending my ad it an extra day due to a late start, the holiday, and stumbling with the initial ads. While I've been sitting here typing this email to you TWO more bookings came in. The advertising engine isn't even running as I've paused it! That's TWO bookings that didn't cost a thing! They were referred from someone else and I haven't even done any sessions yet!
So now I'm at an average cost of $6.75 per booked client and all within a three day span of being active. My weeks are filling up, finally! I'm not chasing clients, they are chasing me!

Frank has been great at answering my questions and working through things with me. He's also been very patient when I've slipped into one of my engineering modes trying to split the atom on this program. Gentle nudges from Frank got me back on track. The hard work has been done already and Frank has laid it all out very clearly in his plan. Just follow the steps and you will see the bookings come in.

Frank did his job and his package is living up to all that was promised.
Now it is up to me. I know the parents will buy. When I get them in the door they always do. I can hardly wait to see where my average sale will be.
I'm thinking (hoping) the top package, but even if only half of them actually purchase and they get the middle package I can still make next month's mortgage payment with only one week of sessions and three days of an active program.

These are highly targeted leads and the buzz I'm already getting in the community is amazing. I just got another TWO bookings. So that is FOUR this morning and my ad isn't even running they are all referrals from clients that haven't even had their sessions yet. All within the time it has taken to write this email, no bull.

Frank, you ARE the MAN! Thanks so much for putting this plan together and sharing it with us. Steve, if you want to chat about this feel free to give me a ring or email. THE MODELING PROGRAM CONCEPT:

In order to bring new clients in the door, I had tried Google ads (those paid ads you see on the side when you do a Google search) with no meaningful results. Then we tried Facebook and I had paid ads with them. Again...limited results. Certainly nothing to get excited about. Then one of my students posted an ad on Facebook that got some buzz for something very fun: MODELS WANTED! I help them get their start in modeling! Everyone is happy!

MOMS WANT THEIR KIDS TO MODEL!

I took that concept and ran with it BUT I failed, failed and failed again but I really knew in my heart it would work. Eventually after many changes and testing models...it was awesome.

If you are not on Facebook, you are so far behind the times its not even funny. With the first part of my system, I can show you how were using our Facebook paid ads so people can click on it. Every time someone clicks on your ad, you pay a fee. 75 cents per click is what we are paying now. If nobody clicks on your ad...you don't pay for it. This is known as pay per click advertising. But believe it or not, this is the smallest part of our entire system.

We had to give our clients what they wanted so everyone would benefit. We came up with something fast and easy for easy order fulfillment. Projecting these images was out of the question. It has to be something on line yet protect my copyrights. I figured out an easy way to do it.

Anyone who knows me know that I am a numbers guy. I track everything. I cant believe how bank account grew in just one month after starting this system. Besides that, we are having more fun and creativity with my photography and that's always a good thing.

My system consists of password protected website so you can literally see and duplicate my system and tools that I am using on a daily basis. This website will also include a link to get my NET income up figures up to December 2009 for my studio for the program. Copy all my ideas word for word and use the system as I do in my studio.

By the way...models are a big part of my product line these days. In my 30 years in business I have never seen anything work as well for my clients and us. It's really a joy to help these parents who are getting ripped off by modeling agencies. Our clients are thrilled.
